On the war in New Guinea and China. Pres. Roosevelt states there can be no compromise peace with Japan. Aircraft carriers fight off Japanese planes. Adm. Halsey examines maps. Troops and supplies stream ashore on New Guinea. Gen. MacArthur examines troops at a jungle camp. Wounded are carried across streams and given plasma. New Guinea natives gather supplies dropped from planes. "Flying Tigers" take off in Burma and fly over the Himalayas. Chiang Kai-shek and his wife arrive in Chungking by plane. Chinese troops move supplies to the front in China.
